Jutta Schott, Feitlehrer FN 2010 Clinics will be held at Liston Stables. Saturdays Starting at 9am to 1:30pm, Jutta has been a professional rider and trainer since 1968. She received her training in Germany and is licensed by the German National Equestrian Federation to teach and train both horse and rider at all levels, including FEI. She also holds the German Bronze and Silver medal. After teaching and competing in Germany, Jutta and her mare went to Vienna, where she spent seven years as an assistant trainer at the stable of Arthur Kottas, Chief Rider of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. 2010 Summer Horse Camp - Learn to ride western and how to take care of horses. We review everything needed to own a horse and how to ride any horse. We also have plenty of arts and crafts for all horse lovers. Camps begin on June 21 at 8:30 and end at 1pm (extended care available). Each camp is 5 days long. A SPECIAL MEETING of the L.A. Equine Advisory Committee has been scheduled JULY 12, at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center at 6:30 PM.     This meeting was called in response to requests the Committee received about water allotments and concerns for the local equestrian stables and ranches.  We have an opportunity to meet with Marty Adams Director of Water Quality from the DWP on the Equestrian and livestock Water issues .   It is important that ETI members and concerned equestrians attend as this is a vital issue at the beginning of summer.   Look forward to seeing you.   Thanks, LYNN  BROWN

Dust off Your Boots and Shine up Your Spurs, Celebrate Norco, California's National Day of the American Cowboy! The City of Norco is hosting a fun-filled, family day event which helps preserve America's cowboy and Western heritage! The day's festivities will begin with a grand patriotic opening ceremony with color guards from all branches of our country's military. Flags from all 50 states will be presented by riders on horseback. Following the ceremony, the day's activities will include roping demonstrations, colt starting, cowboy poetry and more! Participation events are ranch sorting and cowboy obstacle course, each have an additional $5 per run entrance fee. After the National Day of the Cowboy festivities, mosey on over to the Western Barn Dance from 8 p.m. - midnight. Cost of the dance is $5 per person at the door; 21 and older will be admitted.
